Setting Up an Email on Your Domain

Squarespace allows us to do this by registering and purchasing a Google Workspace account. This allows you to have a custom and secure business email on the same domain that you just purchased.

Building Your Website with Squarespace

Once you have set up your domain and email, you are ready to build your website. Squarespace is also a wonderful place to do so. They offer a template builder, which allows you to quickly set up a professional-looking website.

Setting Up Your Booking System

The next step is to set up your booking system. Platforms like Acuity or Squarespace scheduling can assist with that. You can set up classes or specific appointment types, depending on your business's needs.

Registering Your Business as an LLC

The next step, and it's a crucial one, is to register your business as an LLC. This process varies by state, so make sure to refer to your state's specific process. But, in general, you need to ensure that your business name is unique, you have a business street address, a business NAICS code, and a business email address.

Lastly, get your business listed on Google My Business (GMB). It's free, and it will significantly enhance your online presence.

Integrating Your Payment Gateway

After you've set up your Google My Business, integrate your payment gateway like Stripe and PayPal. This allows you to receive payments when customers schedule or purchase from your website.

By following these steps, you could have your business online in just about an hour. So, congratulations on making it this far! Setting up a business might be a daunting task, but remember, with the right tools and guidance, you can get your business up and running smoothly.
